Overview
The Aputure LS 600d Pro is a daylight-only hard LED fixture engineered to deliver maximum punch in a compact, weather-resistant body. It’s a staple tool for indie films, commercials, and small-to-mid size productions that need a reliable, bright daylight source without stepping up into 1200-class fixtures.
Compared to the 600x Pro, the 600d delivers significantly more output, making it the better choice for diffusion-heavy setups or day interiors.
Pros
- Bright for the size and wattage.
- Weather resistant — works in rain, snow, mist.
- Affordable relative to its performance.
- Industry-standard interface (DMX, CRMX).
- Works with all Bowens modifiers.
Cons
- Daylight only — no CCT flexibility.
- Bowens mount is the weak link.
- Heavier than lower-end fixtures.
- Needs a solid stand; front-heavy with modifiers.
